Lickenbrock® was founded in 2006. It is a spin-off from AutoQuant Imaging, Inc.® AutoQuant, founded in 1994, developed and sold the AutoDeblur® and AutoVisualize® product lines, which are 3D image processing software packages for light microscopy. AutoQuant also developed and provided on an OEM basis image processing modules for a major manufacturer of ophthalmic imaging systems. The main business unit of AutoQuant was acquired by Media Cybernetics® in April 2006, and the remaining unsold part of the business dedicated to ophthalmic imaging became Lickenbrock Technologies, LLC, under two of the Cofounders of AutoQuant, Tim and Maria Holmes. |
