Lickenbrock Technologies developed this module for Heidelberg Engineering GmbH. The module is embedded within Heidelberg Engineering’s Optical Coherence Tomography product. After having a picture of the cornea region in the eye, also known as the anterior segment, this module automatically finds and measures anatomy that is known to be affected by glaucoma. It provides a reading to the doctors of the risk of glaucoma or, in case the patient already has the disease, its progression. |
